Dimplex System
The new Dimplex solar kits have been designed to allow optimum flexibility and speed of installation. Roof integrated solar is the popular choice in many new build installations and the unique design of the new Dimplex integrated roof mounting kit makes installation quick and easy.Available for either slate or tile roof coverings, the Dimplex kits use the same connection fittings as standard roof fixing kits and allow for two, four and six square metre installations, across single, two and three panels.
To make specification simple and installation easy, the Dimplex solar thermal hot water system is available in a choice of 15 pre–packaged kits, with each of the system's components carefully selected for its quality and suitability for the UK's climate. It's a complete off-the-shelf solar hot water package, including 2, 4 or 6 m2 flat–plate collector kits, heat transfer system, a full range of installation accessories and a choice of purpose–designed solar hot water cylinders with high efficiency coils, fully optimised for solar water heating.

Alpha Smart Solar System
Alpha boilers are suppliers of high quality combi–boilers. They have designed a high quality Solar package that can be fitted to just about any Combi–boiler.The system is very simple; the Solar panel supplies hot water to a storage tank in the attic. This is then used to pre–feed the inlet supply to the combi-boiler. Using an innovative and patented 'Solar Valve' water is directed either to the boiler intake or directly to the hot water system. This means that if the storage temperature is 60 C the water flows direct to the hot water taps without the boiler firing, or in the case that the storage temperature is lower, the Solar system pre–feeds the Combi boiler with pre heated water. This significantly reduces the fuel consumption of the boiler as it is heating the inlet water not from mains temperature [typically 9 C] but from the pre feed temperature of the store. This system can be used on almost all Combi-boilers, not just Alpha, providing that the boiler is [fully modulating] the Alpha Smart Solar system is a natural choice for Combi users.

Grant Solar Thermal System
Grant boilers are the largest manufacturer of oil fired boilers in the UK. Their boilers are without any doubt the best in the UK. They supply a fully integrated Solar solution to go with their boilers as well as other manufacturers.The basic system can be fitted to your existing cylinder if you already have a twin coil cylinder. If not then the complete system can be upgraded at the same time as the Solar system is fitted. If you already have a Grant boiler the Grant Solar Thermal System is the natural upgrade to your existing system to try and keep your fuel costs under control.
